Writing A Completed Community Service Hours

The end of a dream

I was living my dream, my dream!

who managed to get some of my mail knows that traveling alone in Madagascar has not always been easy, but I was getting on me just fine ... I've experienced something fantastic thanks to the people and places encountered on the streets and idyllic. Most of the time I slept and lived in small villages, and I learned a lot about the various cultures that come together on this island.
gasatissima and I was full of desire to continue this journey full of discoveries, but the night somewhere between 18 and Nov. 19 my dream was abruptly interrupted.

I am in a small village on the east coast: Soanierana-Ivongo. It is the terminus
My Taxi Brousse (local public transport), from there I'm going to contionuare with another car to Mananara, but the 4x4 (the only ones who manage to venture out on that road disaster) do not spend all day, so 'after hours and hours of waiting I am forced to look for a hotel and hope in a little 'more' luck for the next day.
I am not happy with this solution because I do not like the village, but around 17 I met a German girl staying in my own hotel ... she got stuck because they want to reach my own goal ... mood improves immediately, we decide to travel together for the next 7 days and to celebrate the happy meeting we go to drink in a small bar where there is a little 'music. With her there is a Malagasy boy who has been a guide in the afternoon ... super fun evening ... drank, danced, sang ... met a lot of people ...

The boy who started with us saying that he does not know where to go to bed and asked her to stay in the room with her ... is quite insistent ... when I go out of my room because of the rumors I am not surprised that much and resolve the situation by offering to sleep in my room ... I sleep with Lisa.

is still a little chat ', unaware of what' that there is going to happen!

's midnight when a guy armed with a knife burst into our bungallow ... panic ... neither is able to remain calm ... she was immediately detained by the strong close of the boy and the knife pointed at my throat ... I am terrified of what it can 'happen to me throwing him to the boy and try to remove your hand from the throat of armed Lisa ... meanwhile enters the second after having focused where the bags take the first that comes his way and starts to run ... also the first lets go and runs out .... Lisa is shocked, stands still next to the sink ... I run after the bastard who has my backpack and in the meantime scream like a maniac hoping someone will hear me and wake up ... I can also grab it for a few seconds, but makes no effort to free himself from my grip, and keep running ... the dark and the vegetation does not help me ... I lose the his tracks and with them all my money, travelers checks, camera, phone, and a lot of other things.

Idue boys were caught immediately and the two following days I had to spend at the police station for interrogation and the various awards.

It was nice to see all the various tortures to which particular one of the boys has undergone ... and when I asked them to stop they simply move to another room ... but the screams were still loud and clear.

Of all the stolen property was found only the phone, some travelers and some other thing of no use or value.

One of the things I learned in these 50 days of Madagascar is here that corruption is widespread, I should not wonder if after having made me see that the system works now they were all sitting drinking a beer with my money!
police chief during my last day at the police called me into his office to tell me that he knows where my stuff, but his hands are tied, can not 'recover. According to what he tells the guy that grabbed my backpack lives in the house of the head of the gendarmerie, who has a habit of covering it in exchange for 80% of the loot ... who knows ... the only sure thing is that now I'm forced to go home!

Dry Macular Degeneration More Condition_symptoms

I'm sorry, but the event has only been postponed!

Guys, as you noticed my promise to share my journey of updating the blog has not been maintained, but the internet connection here is rare and even when it is too weak to download photos and too unstable to write something.

I'm fine, the trip goes just fine when I get back and download the pictures and I will tell you everything.

A big kiss to all who come to peek every now and then.

I Think Im In Love With You Quotes

Corner Gourmet

This post is dedicated to food!!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love to eat, and one of the wonders of travel is that it allows families to discover the local cuisine which often knows how to surprise with some real treats.
Here let you know all the dishes are worthy of note and even those who probably would prefer to run away before, but in the end I taste however, is not to offend people who have prepared and which probably do not eat much, and because my rule of 'Gold is that you can not say that something is not good if you have not tasted it first!

South Park City En Streaming

Technical tests

Last night I happened to find myself alone at home ... almost a mirage after a summer spent sharing space with 6 other people ... so I took the opportunity to eat something quickly is sprawled on the couch watching a bit 'of paintings. After a while, 'I dwell on channel zapping 5 where there are Aldo Giovanni & Giacomo in what I believe was their first show: The Courts.
Among the many gags there is one in which the three comedians simulating mountain climbing and once you reach the summit can be arranged for the night and set up the tent, and it was then that I came on a light bulb: my new tent!

I have not yet seen it mounted, I do not know how the interior spaces, I do not know the degree of difficulty of the assembly, I do not know if the mattress that I bought it drifts ... but from the mountains!

How exciting! It seems to me to be already in Madagascar ... or at least that's what I try to imagine while they are lying comfortably inside.
to immerse myself deeper into the situation I pretend that the noise is emitted from the refrigerator is actually the call of Indre, an animal species of which I read in the Lonely Planet and on various Internet sites.

I'm really proud of this purchase that I was originally undecided whether or not to ... the fact is that when I left for New Zealand, my dad gave me as a very nice and I really used much, but the main problem was the weight ... it was so beautiful and it was so heavy and cumbersome, and I assure you that is not the best when you need the carry around on their shoulders ... plus the fact that there is no mosquito net (do not tell you how happy were the sand flyes New Zealand) and I'm going to malaria-risk areas ... so I look more and more I think about it more I am convinced that really one of the smartest purchases I've ever had!

Best Thing To Write In A Wedding Card?

Preparations

There is a large number of people seriously believe that a journey begins when you can take a seat on the means of transport that will make us reach our goal. These are the same people who find it stressful all the various preparations and that if they can delegate to someone else.

For me it is not so: a journey begins as soon as you start down the target.
the gear starts to move from the moment you point your finger with certainty on the exact point of the globe is able to transport me to another dimension.
spend most of my free time to document reading the guidebooks (Lonely Planet fans, I tried to change out of curiosity, but in the end they always win!), Looking for the titles of the books of other travelers who will tell their experience, browsing the Internet looking for good tips and pictures that you anticipate something that sooner or later you'll see for yourself.

Then comes the moment to establish the date of departure, or at least a month that seems most suitable according to work commitments, the time required to reach the budget, the seasons ... etc, thus begins the hunt for the ticket, turning to the various travel agencies and the various airline sites ... for this trip was the most complicated part: ticket prices skyrocketing and everyone trying to make me change the way to make arrival and departure at the same airport, or at least the same stato.Non I persuaded and at the end when I was actually starting to lose hope, I had won I! Exit
agency with the note in his hand was fantastic, it seemed touching the sky with a finger while walking down the street with the certainty that at that moment nothing could ruin that feeling of being kept telling myself: "I have a ticket ... but then it is true ... is going on seriously .. . I'm going to Africa ... nooo do not believe it ... but it is true ... look at the ticket ... there's your name on it ... "

And so now that the date is fixed and there is a ticket to do is start thinking about vaccines and visas (and of course continue to document the habits and customs of local people on how to behave or risk of offending someone on the principles of their religions ... plus some information on the many areas in order to begin to sketch a path).

Personally vaccines and visas are the least sympathetic, respectively, for the following reasons:

  • I'm terrified of needles
  • not explain why, but having to deal with the embassies irritates me a bit '

However, once successfully faced and overcome all that remains is to make a list of things you should not miss in your backpack and if something is missing to call off buying!

How will

The departure is set for the 'October 8, 2007 The air route will be the following: Olbia-Rome-Mauritius-Antananarivo

The return is set for the 'March 1, 2008, but this being an open ticket is changeable at any time. The air route will be as follows: Nairobi-Zurich-Rome

Assuming that this is not an organized tour, I can only give you a general idea of \u200b\u200bhow you play. First alone and leave my luggage will consist of a backpacker backpack, a tent and a sleeping bag. I'm interested in the areas that I want to beat, but obviously is not anything particularly detailed and in any case are open to any change because in many cases, the cities depend on the terms of roads, bridges and the advice that I will be given the people I meet along the route.

Also with regard to the nights I will have several options ... will be my tent (1 Ferrino superlight) when the weather conditions and areas in which I am permitting, will be an accommodation in one of several structures specially used And even the kind of people contacted availability on two sites that I personally find brilliant: http://www.couchsurfing.com/ and http://www.hospitalityclub.org/

The only rule that I set is to not use the aircraft for domestic travel, they move from one state to another. To reach the islands and again Comorre Tanzania, then use the various merchant ships or vessels.

Well ... if you think that all this is interesting you just have to wait until the date of departure and continue to read my stories!

Waxing With Genital Warts

is how does this trip

This trip starts to take shape in my mind between the shelves of the Library of Birmingham during the winter of 2006.

brought me to this gray city in England in December 2005, the need for allontarnarmi as quickly as possible from Sardinia to try to recover from a report just completed, and Ilaria, a dear friend who is there to study and After a brief phone conversation has not the slightest hesitation to open the door of his house and welcome me.
I started to attend because the huge library available to the users computers, printers and so on, so I got to write and print a little curriculum and to start looking for work and I continued to attend to use the Internet and improving my English a little.
So one day while waiting for a computer was free, I accidentally discovered the area devoted to "Travel & Geography" and fantastic today ... fantastic tomorrow ... has slowly taken shape what will be my next upcoming trip.
